Victoria Polasek and Sean Bassett are the owners of Moss Creek, a property located approximately 15km west of Byron Bay. The property is a residence and wildlife-friendly sanctuary, with areas designated for conservation. It is Victoria and Sean’s intent to continue to utilise the property for conservation purposes while maintaining and revegetating the land with native flora species ensuring it is suitable habitat for local wildlife.

The property covers 10 hectares, approximately 30% of which is grassland with other substantial vegetation types being eucalypt woodland and subtropical rainforest. Willowvale Creek and Possum Creek run through the property, providing water sources for wildlife species.

Wildlife species known to inhabit the property include short-beaked echidnas (Tachyglossus aculeatus), swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor), koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus), yellow-tailed black cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus funereus), eastern water dragons (Intellagama lesueurii) and a variety of native bird, snake and frog species.
