Wildlife Land Trust / Sanctuaries / NSW / Corcoran’s Plains

Eddie Corcoran is the owner of Corcoran’s Plains, a property situated in Boorowa, approximately 100km west of Goulburn, New South Wales. The majority of the property is utilized as pasture and as a wildlife-friendly sanctuary, with approximately 2 hectares set aside as a wedding venue and accommodation. Eddie maintains the property as a sanctuary for native wildlife and has plans to establish exclusion fencing around the river frontage to further preserve its natural values.

The property covers approximately 40.47 hectares of lucerne (Medicago sativa) flats interspersed with native grasslands. The southern side of the property is bounded by a river. Wildlife found on the property includes eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus), rock wallabies (Petrogale spp.) and a wide array of birdlife including superb parrots (Polytelis swainsonii).
