Wildlife Land Trust / Sanctuaries / TAS / Wicked Wildlife Sanctuary

Jude Lennox and Sacha Pawlowski are the owners of Wicked Wildlife Sanctuary, a property located approximately 15km south of Hobart. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary used for wildlife rehabilitation, as well as being a residence and wildlife orphanage, and it is Jude and Sacha’s intent for it to continue in these purposes. Jude and Sacha are registered as wildlife carers with the Tasmanian state government.

The sanctuary covers 0.51 hectares, the majority of which is comprised of natural bushland and wildlife rehabilitation enclosures. Vegetation is predominantly dry sclerohpyll bushland featuring sag grass (Lomandra longifolia), poa grass (Poa gunnii), bracken fern (Pteridium esculentum), and various species of Acacia.

Wildlife species for which Wicked Wildlife Refuge is known to provide habitat include eastern barred bandicoots (Perameles gunnii), southern brown bandicoots (Isoodon obesulus), pademelons (Thylogale billardierii), long-nosed potoroos (Potorous tridactylus apicalis), brushtail possums (Trichosurus vulpecula), ringtail possums (Pseudocheirus peregrinus), blotched blue-tongued lizards (Tiliqua nigrolutea), micro bats and various native bird species.
