Graeme Clark is the owner of Wings Barossa Bird & Bush Retreat ('Wings'), a property located approximately 7km from Springton. The property is a dedicated wildlife sanctuary offering eco-friendly accommodation. It is Graeme's intent for Wings to continue to be used for the benefit of the local environment, with the entire property a non-stocked conservation reserve.

Wings covers 68 hectares of gently sloping bushland with five valleys containing a mix of native vegetation, regeneration and very large areas of Landcare planting. Vegetation includes South Australian blue gums (Eucalyptus leucoxylon ssp. leucoxylon), rough barked manna gums (Eucalyptus viminalis), golden wattles (Acacia pycnantha), drooping sheoaks (Allocasuarina verticillata), red river gums (Eucalyptus camaldulensis), yaccas (Xanthorrhoea), and rapier sedges (Lepidosperma filiforme).

Wildlife known to inhabit the area include western grey kangaroos (Macropus fuliginosus), short-beaked echidnas (Tachyglossus aculeatus), snakes, lizards and a wealth of birdlife ranging from slender-billed thornbills (Acanthiza iredalei) to wedge-tailed eagles (Aquila audax).
